"In light of international women's day yesterday it is as fitting a time as ever to recognize our exceptional Young Feminist Club. So let's step back and recognize the contributions made by Zoraya, Sabrina, Becca, and club president Sarah in their efforts to educate advocate, and enrich the sequoia high school community. The young feminist club at sequoia has led school-wide efforts to make information about sexual harassment available to more students [and] this has included a streamlining of the process for reporting sexual harassment to the administration. they've placed free feminine hygiene products in all classrooms as part of their broad effort to destigmatize conversations about menstruation through education and outreach.
